Our partners
We are a privately owned business and the holding company, Celtique Energie Holdings Ltd, is registered in England and Wales.
Our initial seed funding was provided by UK investors and management and this was supplemented in 2006 by significant capital provided by a USA private equity house, Avista Capital Partners (www.avistacap.com). The current shareholding is majority owned by Avista. Calmar LP also committed a significant investment in 2011, and other investors include the management team and the original British seed investors.
We work with a number of well-established joint venture companies in some of our licences thereby benefitting from additional specialist technical expertise, or local knowledge, in addition to sharing capital.
